Switching Content Using Autodemographics

AdSwitch® technologies give you the ability to be aware of your customer in real time. AdSwitch® can switch adverts to appropriately supply your customers with the advertising you want to deliver to them. For example, in a POS queue with a video display, the adverts will change as each different person comes to the head of the queue. Up until now, we have all experienced watching advertising unsuited to our particular interests.

With the advent of AdSwitch®, the advertising experience is changed forever. As the elderly woman moves to the head of the queue, she is shown the advert for retirement homes and Mills and Boons novels, then the teenage boy heads the queue and some computer games adverts and perhaps appropriate teenage music will play. As he leaves the queue, the young woman comes to the head of the queue and is shown the appropriate lifestyle adverts for her age and gender.

AdSwitch® fights for your customer by protecting them against inappropriate, unsuitable, and ineffective advertising. Your adverts will only be shown to your target demographic. Advertising can be streamed to begin only when someone is near to the target advert/area and actually looking at the display.

Coping with difficult images

If the AdSwitch® software is unsure of its categorisation, ie 'Is this customer male or female?' - it can be set to show a non-specific gender advert. The same considerations apply to the other AdSwitch® functions. AdSwitch® is able to cope with poor lighting conditions, hats/scarves over faces, women with facial hair, and other facial images that are difficult to classify, by showing neutral non-specific advertising where this is necessary.
