AdWatch®

The AdWatch® system does not control the display of adverts but collects statistical data about the people who
look at the advert. In this setup the advert does not need to be a video screen, it can as simple as a poster.

The AdWatch® system works alongside the Adswitch® system. However instead of controlling the content of an advertising medium, AdWatch® collects the very statistics used to control the advertising content. AdWatch® builds up a list of records, one for each time a consumer was looking. The record contains:

            - the data and time the observer was looking

            - how long the look was

            - all the detected features such as age, gender etc.

The Statistics Log Database

This information is backed up in regular intervals into the statistics log database. The system can record the statistics either with or without detecting whether the person doing the looking actually has looked before. In the second case the system has the ability or 'memory' to record the actual number of different spectators who have seen the advert. This 'memory' is actually Intelligent Earth's own face recognition module, which matches any new face to the faces which recently looked at the system - if there is any match the look is recorded as a 'revisit.'

Statistics of Interest

From list of records of spectator information the module can calculate any number of statistics of interest, for example

           - Number of people looking at advert per/hour or day.
           - ages and genders relating to times of the day.
           - busiest times of the day
           - frequency and duration of looks from people according to age, gender, ethnicity etc

The AdWatch® system can give a variety of statistics derived from the continually accruing actual sample data in the statistics log.

Statistics available in your own office

The Statistics Log database can be located on an internet server which allows the information to be queried from a secure website, which can only be accessed by the advert provider. Alternatively the information can be stored locally with the advert and inspected at any time in the comfort of your own office. Multi-site, multi-screen advertising can be overviewed very quickly and analysed for valuation and optimisation of advertising spend.
