HOLOS™ - High speed Object Location and Orientation Sensing

The Company's HOLOS™ technology is currently being applied as part of the Magic Pen™ system, the 3D browser, and as an intuitive and powerful games controller. These products are also part of the Company's Ambient Intelligence (AmI) portfolio.

HOLOS™ for Robot Self-Awareness

Another strand of research is the application of Intelligent Earth's HOLOS™ technology to robot self-awareness. A sub-area of this robotics research is machine detection and tracking of other machinery using HOLOS™. Both areas are researching the use of essentially identical technologies, applied firstly, to provide internal orientation and proprioceptive information to a robot, and secondly to allow machinery/robots to locate and track other machinery/robots, or in fact any object or person using the HOLOS™ technology.

HOLOS™ is currently attracting a lot of attention from some of the world's largest companies in several different application areas. Company research efforts will continue to be focused strongly on two or three areas, one of these being HOLOS™.
