Research and Development

Intelligent Earth' R&D division has 7 ongoing areas of interest. The dynamic new Intelligent Earth' R&D team is researching new image processing algorithms for fast object recognition, building automatic demographics gathering systems for advertising and other applications, while progressing Company robotics' capabilities, and developing intelligent agent systems for intelligent internet protocol surveillance (IIPS) camera networks.

A major focus with applications in many areas is the Intelligent Earth HOLOS™ program. HOLOS™, an acronym for High-speed Object Location and Orientation Sensing, has been developed over the last 3 years and is now being incorporated into several products including the Magic Pen™, the 3D browser, and robotics proprioception and orientation systems.

HOLOS™ is currently stirring up a lot of interest among some major multinationals and products incorporating HOLOS™ will be on the market within the year.

There is also an ongoing effort to port advanced company software to mobile devices, while at the same time developing new applications for the mobile medium.
